The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science provides a scientific foundation for learning, discovery, and innovation in computer programming and technology. These opportunities support an understanding of the principles and theories of the computing sciences to equip graduates for leadership roles in ther careers or as they enter graduate school. Grounded in a liberal arts foundation, the Computer Science major is designed to build ethical, service-oriented professionals with a broad understanding of computing. The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics will seek ABET certification for the BS in Computer Science degree.
