SW 347 Human Behavior and the Social Environment I

This course and its sequel, SW 348 , examine those interacting systems which influence human behavior: individual, families, groups, organizations, and communities throughout the life course. HBSE I examines the ecological approach and the biophysical, psychological and social influences on human behavior, with a special emphasis on diversity. Micro, mezzo, and macro issues of the life course from pregnancy through early childhood are examined. 3 hrs (Fee $95)
